Training ride #3

Once again we will be partnering with Life Time Cycle Club to prepare for the Reston Bike Century. Our third training ride will feature three groups.  The "A" group will average around 19 MPH.  The "B" Group will average above 16.5 MPH. The "C" Group will serve both as a training group and a teaching group.  We will focus on how to ride safely in groups. The "C" group will average above 14 MPH. 

We will be doing "The Gold Miner Rider" from Nokesville Community Park at 9 AM on Sunday, June 28, 1915. The ride is mostly flat and is 51 miles long.  Below is the Cue Sheet:

Reston Bicycle Club welcomes bicycling-related organizations and non-profits to apply for a grant to further their work. The Club will provide up to $1000 per approved grant. Grants are reviewed at the next Executive Board Meeting following the request. Candidates will be informed of grant decision after the meeting.
