Cherry Blossoms! Schedule change to Tuesday

Join the Ramblers for the annual try-and-see the blossoms tour! We will not venture to Reflecting Pool but will tour Hains Point which has lovely trees. There are views of the Jefferson Memorial blossoms from the 14th bridge and along Ohio Dr, SW. This is multimodal!! The 35 miles is from The Bike Lane to East Falls Church then Metro to Reston. We'll stop at Hains Point for a body break and Shirlington for a snack/lunch.

For those who'd like to shave 10 miles off there will be a meeting spot in Falls Church at 11 am.  Let Laura Robinson know you will join the tour. The meeting spot is on the route in Benjamin Banniker Park before the W&OD bridge & the trail left turn.

All are welcome but it is a ramble (social, leisure). The average speed of this ride can creep to more than 12 mph depending on the route. It is a good ride for retired, daytime free, new to cycling, or happy people. 

Rides are not held when the forecast for rain is greater than 50% or temperature is below 30^o. Ride cancellations will be posted on Social Media.

We are paper-free, which means you can download the route from RidewithGPS and print it before you come, but we will not have paper cue sheets to distribute at the ride.
