Looking for a relaxed social ride after a hectic, fast paced week? We're going to ride at a 10-12 mph pace on trails, quiet neighborhood roads, and sidepaths. We'll loop around Vienna before heading to Meadowlark so you can join us for a short 13 mile loop and skip the last 8 miles and concert if you need a shorter ride.

After about 17 miles, we'll take a break at Meadowlark Gardens in time for the Virginia Chamber Orchestra concert at 3pm (rehearsals start at 2pm if we're early, and it's good to be early to get a shade spot). Bring a bike lock, Meadowlark entrance fee ($6 under 55, $3 over), and a ground cover to sit on if you'd like (I'll have a tarp for an additional 1-2 people). It's about a 15 minute walk from the garden entrance to the concert site. More information on the concert series can be found on VCO's website. Meadowlark Garden's policies are on Fairfax County's parks site.

The ride starts promptly at noon, so be ready with your bike, helmet, and water. We will not be riding faster than 12 mph.

Rides are not held when the forecast for rain is greater than 50%. Ride cancellations will be posted on Social Media. If you are not comfortable riding on the roads, please contact the ride leader before you register for the ride.

We are paper-free, which means you can download the route from RidewithGPS and print it before you come, but we will not have paper cue sheets to distribute at the ride

All riders must sign (or have already signed for 2022) a liability waiver. You can do that HERE. The first ride with us is free. We welcome you to join us on subsequent rides as a member. Membership is $25 per year and you can take care of that HERE.
