Ride Guidelines:

  1. You must be registered for the ride on the RBC website.
  2. You are responsible for the riders behind you. Do not enter an intersection unless it is safe for all of the riders behind you, particularly in the neighborhoods in the last 10 km of the ride.
  3. Do not cross the centerline of the road or pass slowing/stopped cars.
  4. Soft pedal at the bottom of the Birdfoot descent so everyone can clear the turn at the bottom safely before we move on.
  5. Regroup at the end of Stuart Mill for 1-2 minutes so riders can take the climb at their desired pace.
  6. "Thursday pace" - please no watt bombs, if you are feeling strong go to the front and do a good pull to help out the group. Let's make a good pace but keep it relaxed and not frantic. This is still a drop ride.
  7. Help the group flow smoothly by protecting your front wheel, merging carefully into the draft, and holding your line/position into corners. If you don't want to pull, please communicate that clearly to other riders and stay at the back of the group so as to avoid disrupting the rotation at the front.

Registration:

You must be on the registration list and you must be on time. We will leave promptly.

We are paper-free, which means you can download the route from Ride with GPS and print it before you come, but we will not have paper cue sheets to distribute at the ride.

All riders please  sign (or have already signed for 2024) a liability waiver. You can do that HERE. The first ride with us is free. We welcome you to join us on subsequent rides as a member. Membership is $25 per year and you can take care of that HERE.
